Jerod Mayo

with the addition of hightower and spikes already there do you think mayo will be shifted to one of the outside slots when they line up in the 4-3. what kind of trade value in terms of pics do you think hes worth and would you look to trade him even though he led the nfl in tackles two years ago

Re: Jerod Mayo

Dating back to last season, Mayo has been playing WLB in 4-3 sets. I expect that to continue moving forward. He's still a solid LB2 in my opinion. Spikes will likely leave the field in passing situations and Hightower's role is as clear as mud right now.

I have him on my team right now, and as I believe he is the only true 3 down backer NE has on its team. My guess is Spikes and Hightower play the ILB spots in a 3-4 as Mayo gets to rome free to do what he wants in away. When they play in the 4-3 I agree with theidpguru ... he will play the Will.
