when to draft Watt?

So a little background. I am in a keeper league with both offense and defense, we keep our 2 best players. Traditionally we have always had 2 LB's 2 DB's and 2 defensive flex in addition to the offensive positions. This year though the commissioner decided to remove 1 LB for a DL slot, which opens the league up to defensive linemen which were previously not able to be picked up. Not knowing anything about drafting defensive linemen, I went and looked at how the top linemen scored in our system last season to get an idea.

the top scoring linemen of course was Watt with 287.9

Second was Jason Pierre Paul, who blew apart his hand, with 190.5

third was Peppers with 154

That is an insane difference, that probably stems partially from the offensive touchdowns. Given the ridiculous disparity, should I give legitimate consideration to drafting Watt with the first overall pick over the best available offensive player, who would be Marshawn Lynch?

Re: when to draft Watt?

Absolutely. The relative advantage Watt provides is probably the greatest in all of Fantasy Football. I've seen him go within the top 10 picks in mixed redraft leagues. There is an argument for him to go #1 overall in this format. Some of it depends on how much DLs score relative to RBs. But assuming it's relatively standard, I'd take Watt over Lynch.
