waiver questions - week 8 (update)

Welcome back Guru.

- DL: Chris Long is disappointing me of late and his bye is coming up. Would you replace him with Trent Cole (new D coordinator may help?) or Derek Wolfe?

- LB: I am content with Greenway, Foster, Wagner, and Kuechly. For bench depth, will McCarthy ever be a LB1 considering his ankle is a constant problem or is Burfict better for ROS at this point?

- DB: Babineaux and Madieu Williams are my starters. Should I replace either with Kurt Coleman?

I think I'd still rather own Long primarily because of the division he plays in.

McCarthy will likely return to LB1- or at least LB2 status within the next couple of games. Burfict is a low-end LB2 with some variability due to the home scorekeeper.

I'd stay put for now at DB.

I made these moves after I read your rankings:

DL - I picked up Mincey for Long. How about Mincey ROS?
LB - I did pick up Burfict and will see McCarthy's practice news in case I want to swap. Carter is free too but would like to see more of him in a real game.
DB - I stayed put but someone dropped Tyvon Branch so considering swapping Branch for Williams when he clears waivers.

Long and Mincey are about equal ROS. I'd put in for Branch when you can.
