I have Cushing and Mayo at 8 and 9 in my rankings, respectively. Although they both have had their fair share of injuries, I think Mayo is the safer play given his tackle numbers are buoyed by the NE stat crew. However, Cushing's big play potential and relative lack of tackle competition present a better upside. That said, if you are risk averse go with Mayo otherwise go with Cushing who presents a bit more risk, but more upside.
