sorry if this answer is alittle bland but, i really think that if you like a player and you believe they are gonna have a good season and you grab them maybe a round too early but, you get them, then you did the right thing. i have in the past not reached for someone i had a crush on and then watched as they had a great season. i would rather have the player i wanted and they flop then to play a whole season wishing i grabbed him sooner while he is playing great, just like i thought he would.

for me i always get a copy of the draft board either by team or the round by round version, especially in a keeper league or a league with the same group every year so i can see who owners draft year after year. i also get that so i can dwell on my picks and see, by they're performances, if i really reached or if it played out like i thought it would. (my draft prep advice)

now did you reach too early, i think no. you got the IDPs you wanted and still grabbed what i think will be a top 10 QB in Roethlisberger. i like cole this year on that line and i really think timmons is gonna be a top 3 LB. i have grabbed him in my other leagues, and yes i think i overpaid for him in a recent auction, but i did get him.
