tatupu missing time...is hawthorne worth a gamble this week?

i just read that tatupu missed practice on wed.  any word on if he is going to play.  would hawthorne be worth a one week gamble if tatupa doesn't play...or even if he does?  hawthorne had a nice week last week (although i do realize giants where trying to run out the clock after the 1st quarter), and he almost single handedly won my a title last year.

The matchup against Arizona is a pretty bad one, but if Tatupu is out I would still trust Hawthorne as a LB3 assuming he slides to the middle. It's yet to be reported whether or not Lofa will miss this week's game.
