secondary sleeper help

just had my league draft the uses idp and I'm not to excited how my secondary played out. My starting corners are Verner(Ten), Marshall(Mia) and starting safeties are Branch(Oak) and Chung(NE)

I was hoping yall could give me some under the radar players with top 15 or 20 upside

Re: secondary sleeper help

i think Branch and Chung are pretty good choices as they are tackle machines.belichek puts chung in the box alot for run support and branch has been consistant every year, barring injury. Sleepers, harrison from minn, mark barron, barry church( dal) but watch him.great value in T j ward considering his poor 2011 season, should return to form ,

Re: secondary sleeper help

somebody drafted barron and harrison and the guy with harrison wants to see a few games before he'll trade him. I'm staying clear of tj ward with all the big dlinemen they have and jqill in the middle

Honestly, even for IDP "experts" predicting the viable of fantasy DBs from year to year in quite difficult, even sometimes futile. With this said, I wouldn't worry too much about having "subpar" DBs. There will be a plethora of them that emerge out of nowhere within the first couple of weeks and you will be able to scoop at least 1 of them up.

My recommendations for high upside DBs with relatively low ADPs:

Tom Zbikowski
Brandon Meriweather
Antoine Winfield
Kurt Coleman
Taylor Mays
Brandon Taylor

I like Verner a lot this year BTW.

Hope this helps.

Thanks,
Ryan

Re: secondary sleeper help

Naturally Bethea will dip into Zib's production a bit. However, the Colts defense is going to be on the field ALL DAY. Plus, Angerer just went down with a fairly significant injury. I'm seeing a ton of tackle opps in the Colts secondary this season and Zbikowski is a strong enough run defender to put up viable numbers.
