replacing mccarthy tonight

Saw McCarthy may be out a few weeks now. Who are the top 5 from these LBs to target for waiver pickup? I like Ryans and Freeman the most but will assume they will be taken before me. Thanks.

Freeman (like him a lot but what happens if Angerer returns in week 5?)
Durant
Riley
Carter
Kendricks
Ayers
Wheeler
Sheppard
Maualuga

Ryans is the safest pick. I like Freeman too but he's risky. Outside of those two, I'd go with Ayers for the best short term value and Riley for the best long term value.
