baltimore linebackers

brown is the highly touted rookie but smith is being described as the "quarterback of the defense". Whos starts where, do either play 3rd downs (question marks listed on the every down linebackers page), how valuable are they?

Brown likely starts the season on the bench and comes in for Bynes during nickel snaps. I don't see Bynes sticking in the starting lineup long. I would say Brown will be in there within a few weeks next to Daryl Smith. I've always liked Smith as a solid linebacker, but his upside is ultimately limited. I expect both him and Brown to have similar stat lines by the end of the year.
