Who to start

My defense is in shambles.   I'm trying to patch together a workable squad this week, as a part of my larger rebuilding process, but my IDP league is filled with IDP veterans, and most of the acquisitions suggested by Ryan were gone right away, or already stockpiled (despite tight bench allocations / team.)
 
1pt tackles, .5pt ATs, 2pt FF/FR, 3pt picks/sacks, 1pt PD.  We start 5, and they can be any position (which is why I'm looking at some DBs too).

Nate Irving is on the bench (bye).    

I drafted Willis and Woodyard, who haven't been stellar.  Rest are pickups (just grabbed spence)

On the FA market, I'm looking at

Tamba Hali
Geno Hayes
DJ Williams
Donald Butler
Josh Mauga
Sean Spence (should fill in for Shazier in Pitts)
Eric Weddle

My gut tells me to stick with the top 4 I've got, and decide between the Prince, and this list.  

Thoughts?

If Weddle is out there I think you have to grab him.  A solid source of tackles and the off chance he gets a pick.  For me, I'd start a SS over a CB all day due to tackle opportunities.  Based on the list you've provided as to what is available, Weddle would have the best floor and highest ceiling.
