Welcome back Guru!

This post was updated on .
I hope you had a great time!  You said you went out of the country...where'd you go?

I'm in dire need of some insight from you:

I've been carrying Angerer and McCarthy for weeks now, and have Perry Riley as my week to week constant (I have 2 LB spots, and one DP spot). I picked up Babineaux who's hot right now and have been using him in my DP spot instead of a LB.

Questions:

What do I do with Angerer and McCarthy?  Neither is producing, and only Angerer is playing (did he just have a bad first game back?  He had only 22 snaps, so he's got to get more to produce) at a low level, which I cant have.  Carrying both for a few more weeks is almost impossible (unless McCarthy is Out, in which case I can sit him in my IR spot).

The WW is thin... Burfict is out there, as is Ellerbe, and Durant.  I'm not thrilled with any of these guys.
Seems McCarthy is the better talent, but his status is uncertain week to week and Angerer has to deal with a timeshare with Freeman.

Finally, do you know what happened to Schofield this week?  He posted a goose egg.  I have him, but will drop him (tho I think he might have more talent than any on the WW).

Thanks!

--EDIT--Burfict got picked up tonight on the WW, so it's down to Ellerbe or Angerer...since McCarthy is still Out and sitting in the IR spot.
Of the three, which is best Ellerbe, Angerer, or McCarthy?
and if McCarthy stays out, Ellerbe or Angerer?

Re: Welcome back Guru!

--EDIT #2--

Ellerbe was picked up last night after the waivers.  ugh.
With the highlights of the WW being Durant, Burris, and Nicholas all available, I'm thinking I might as well stick with McCarthy and Angerer.
The talent pool has dried up big time.

Re: Welcome back Guru!

After thinking about the lack of LB talent (14 team league), and not wanting to dump McCarthy or Angerer, I traded my SS Babineaux for Keuchly.
I have Moore and Barron as my two starters at Safety, so Babs was the DP I used, since I have no LB depth.  With Kuechly and Riley as my LBs, I can swap McCarthy for Angerer in my DP spot for who has the best weekly matchups.

I post this because sometimes the obvious move is the one right in front of you.  (I checked the league teams and saw the ones who were hurting for quality safeties, but who had good linebackers.)
I hope this helps someone (lack of depth at LB can be fixed by depth at another position).

Does my logic sound solid Guru?

Re: Welcome back Guru!

Definitely. Very good trade for you IMO.
