Smith or Moore and drop Sheppard for week 2 monsters?

This post was updated on .
Mr Guru Sir,
I am in need of IDP advice!

McCarthy is out for "several weeks" according to Rotoworld....so I need to drop one of my safeties and pick up someone better going forward.

First Question:
I have Harrison Smith and William Moore.  Which has better upside going forward (Moore was a monster Monday night, so I'm sold on dropping Smith, unless you think he's got some upside vs. some of the possible pickups below.)?

Second question:
Once that decision is made, I have to decide if Sheppard is worth keeping seeing that the waiver have some decent performers available.  I'm interested in rest of season potential. (Sheppard is really shaping up, but so are the players on the WW.) Do I drop Sheppard for:

Ayers
Witherspoon
Michael Griffin
(especially wondering if any of these 3 will do as well with McCarthy back)
(Important to take into account that I also have Verner...dont want to have too many eggs in the Tennessee basket..but if one of these  3 are going to be monsters going forward, I'll take the chance)
Erin Henderson
Russell Allen
Craig Dahl

Third question:
Woodyard ( Denver) isnt an every down back anymore.  Brooking played quite a few for him Monday night.  Is Woodyard worth keeping in view of this?  I could give Sheppard (or Ayers) his spot.

Final question:
I know Angerer will be out a few more weeks, but is he potentially much better than the names listed above?  If so, I can grab him and make do with who I have till he can play.

pretty standard scoring:
tackle: 1
assist: .5
sack: 4
PD: 1
stuff: 1
int: 4
ff: 3

Thanks!

Re: Smith or Moore and drop Sheppard for week 2 monsters?

I'm updating my previous post as things are clearer.
Moore seems like a Safety lock for the the foreseeable future, so I dropped Smith.

Woodyard seems to be ok, since he played 89% and had 6 plays on special teams.  Unless you think he has less potential then the following players, I'll keep him in the line up.

Main question:

Is Sheppard's (or Woodyard's)future full of upside, as opposed to any of these players on my WW:

Ayers
Griffin
Henderson
Dahl

I dont see the upside with Dahl, but he's gotten good writeups...I'm interested in your opinion tho.

I'm still not sure what to do with Angerer...that roster spot is valuable, considering the guys on the WW right now.

Thanks for any insight!

Re: Smith or Moore and drop Sheppard for week 2 monsters?

I'd dump Woodyard (he rotated out about 1/3 of the snaps last week) and pickup Henderson. I've been high on Henderson since preseason and he's exceeding even those expectations. I continue to expect him to produce solid numbers throughout the season and he doesn't have the question marks that Woodyard does concerning playing time.
