Should this trade have been vetoed by league commish?

I wanted to get a few opinions regarding a trade that was made between my team and another team. The trade was accepted but the commissioner vetoed it saying:

"Hey Boys. I cannot not allow that trade. Feel free to rework it but funchess is worth about 4-5x that evaluation.
Those 2 DEs aren't even rosterable in our gigantic sized roster league. Funchess is ranked in the top 100 overall dynasty assets. Hes a 2nd round pick in the real NFL and was a top 12 pick in our league 2 seasons ago (not that values dont change, but they dont change that much). If Jernigan and Marsh were dropped today I dont think anyone would even pick them up. Both were free agents, picked up off waivers. Then were dropped by Mitch, nobody touched them for weeks upon weeks, then he picked them up again week 17. They literally have next to zero value. Trades like that are what Josh and I really have to monitor or the league freaks out... especially when its between best friends and roomates.

The person I made the trade with wants the trade and picked Jernigan and Marsh as guys he would take for Funchess as his WR corp is deep but his DL/DEs aren't as deep. I am high on Jernigan and never dropped him all year so I think my commissioner is pulling that claim out of his ass.  Myself and my trade partner believe Marsh is going to be a starter next year and will climb considerably in ADP.

My belief is that the commissioner is trying to acquire Funchess for himself haha.

Anyways I just wanted to know your thoughts on this trade as it is a trade that benefits both teams in my opinion. Do you think the commissioner was justified in vetoing it?

Barring collusion, commish veto is horseshit. Drop out of the league.
(I feel you win the trade but that's irrelevant.)
