Shallow league IDP help

Hey,

Thanks for all the helpful info IDPGURU!
I'm in a 10 team league which includes only one IDP spot.  So obviously tons of great players available on waivers.

On team currently: Maye

Available:
Bosa (both)
J Adams
L Collins
Littleton
Schobert
J Baker -MIA
D White
M Garrett

Am I reaching by having Maye when I could start one of these guys?

5 pts turnovers
1 pt tackle
2 pt bonus every 5 tackles
5 pts blocked kick
3 pts sack
3 pts pass def

Re: Shallow league IDP help

Any concern with Maye when Williamson returns?

According to your scoring, you should target big play guys rather than just LBs who accumulate tackles.

The name that jumps off this list is Jamal Adams. I had him last year when he was with the Jets and gets sacks, INTS and tackles. Seattle seems to use him much the same way the Jets used him so I'd grab him immediately.

I currently have Maye and it seems he's being used much the same way Adams was used. I should clarify that both Adams and Maye have big play ability so I perhaps you can't go wrong with either. You could look to stash Adams with Maye and keep him from other teams but with only one IDP perhaps it's not worth it. I love both guys so consider deciding between them a good problem to have.

Re: Shallow league IDP help

Based on scoring I'd agree that Maye is a better option than Adams.  I think Adams gets more tackles and Maye gets more PDs.  Both appear to blitz and will get the occasional sack.
