It's yet to be determined when he will have to serve his sentence. It may be during the season, it may be after. He may also be facing a suspension from the league. With this said, there's obviously risk in drafting McClain right now. But, he played well down the stretch last season and coaches were impressed with him earlier this year. He's slipping in drafts due to his jail sentence and may actually be a nice value if he continues to slip and actually doesn't miss any/much time due to jail/suspension.
