Rate My League & Scoring

I am the commish or a 24 team (2 - 12 team conferences split) IDP league. We are going into our 3rd year total and 2nd as an IDP League. We use MFL as our league site. My goal was to make the scoring as balanced as possible bewteen O & D by the weekly score, NOT the players weekly scores. In otherwords, I did not increase the scoring for IDP's where a def td is worth more than a off td for example. I tried to make each position across the board balanced. For example, we get 2 QB's on our roster. The 2nd QB's total points would be equal or close to the positiona limits for all other positions as the 3rd RB, 4th WR, 2nd TE, 2nd TE, 2nd PK, 2nd DT, 3rd DE, 5th LB, 3rd S and 3rd CB.

Because I have recruited everyone, my owners let me for the most part decide everything up to this point. Id love to know what you think about the league and any advice, changes or praises, ha. I want to make it fair an balanced as possible, but also as realistic as it can possibly be for fantasy. Thanks. I copied and pasted from my league. i hope its easy enough to understand.

Re: Rate My League & Scoring

If you are really looking to make offensive players and defensive players equal, I highly recommend using this scoring system: http://football18.myfantasyleague.com/2012/options?L=15615&O=09

It was developed by my good friend Jene Bramel over at Footballguys and as you can see my looking at the Top Performers section of the league, scoring was quite balanced between individual offensive and defensive players.

Hope this helps.
