Re: Rate My Defense!

It's hard to make a complete assessment without knowing the scoring system, but I'll make my best attempt.

I personally think JPP is probably the most valuable IDP out there as he provides owners with the highest amount of relative value. Mincey should be a solid DL2 type if Branch plays well enough to keep the double teams away. Wimbley could have a very nice season as well if Morgan plays up to his potential. Cox could have some nice mid to late season value as he will be playing multiple positions along the line and is a good fit for the scheme.

I think we see some regressions with Bowman this year but he's still likely a LB2+/LB1-. Butler is one of my top sleeper candidates for this season. If he can snag a three down role (which he should), I wouldn't be surprised to see 95-100 solos out of him. Erin Henderson is a sneaky late round pick as he projects to play in both base and subpackages. Likely decent LB3+ value. Outside of these three guys however, your depth is pretty thin.

Barron should be a top 15 DB from Week 1. Outside of him, you don't have a ton. The good news is solid fantasy DBs always emerge out of nowhere during the course of the season even in the deepest of leagues. Therefore, if you watch closely enough, you should be able to snap a couple of the wire.

Hope this helps and thanks for posting!
