With Jason Babin cut, I need to fill my second DL slot. (I plan to hold on to Babin and see where he ends up, but cannot gamble on him this week.)
The top of the wire has Chris Clemons, Cliff Avril- whom I dropped last week, an injured Chandler Jones, and Corey Liuget.
However the next name on the list pops off the page for me- Nick Fairley, 13th overall pick in the 2011 draft. He's been making a lot of noise in the past three weeks. I typically shy away from DTs, and on the line with Suh and Avril, there are plenty of guys that may get to the QB. But he has the pedigree and recently the playing time and production, to put up points. Does he have more upside over the course of the next month than the other four guys I named? Indy, GB, Zona, ATL in the last four weeks of my season. (The week 17 Chicago game is postseason I'm afraid.)
