Newbie Question re: Chart Interpretation

When you list the top 30 guys in, for example, the weekly DB list im a little confused.  You have e.g., Pollard at #2 but with the worst possible matchup.  Then you have Berry at #5 with the best possible matchup.  Are you saying that Pollard is a better start than Berry even given consideration for the matchups?  or are you listing the guys in some matchup-independent overall ordering and then separately reporting the matchup quality this week.

If i had both Pollard and Berry, I'd be inclined to start Berry given the matchup.  But, maybe you are saying that Pollard is so much better that you'd start him anyway despite the matchup.  Just hoping for a clarification as to how to use these charts.

Thanks,
JH

Re: Newbie Question re: Chart Interpretation

The matchups are just an FYI. There are some players that are matchup independent and then therefore less affected by a bad matchup. Also, the matchup ranking doesn't take into account the nuances of certain matchups (e.g. DB matchup can vary depending on S vs. CB).
