New to IDP

Hi all,
    We are adding IDP for the first time and we have three IDP slots with no position designations.
Do I simply go by the Fantasy Points projections or should I be thinking more about the positions?  Are LBs generally more stable with point production?  So aim for two LBs and one DB for the spike in production from interceptions?
