Moves for Angerer and other

Hey Ryan,

We play 1 DL, 1, LB, 1 DB, & 2 Flex; Solo 2, Asst 1, TFL + 1, Big Plays 3, PD 1

I have:
DL = Allen
LB = DQwell, Kuechly, McCarthy
DB = Pollard, Chancellor

We can drop a player the day after they play and FA's are wide open. Angerer is currently a FA.  DJ Smith is a waiver avail Sat morning, which I have about a 75% chance of winning the claim. What do you think of this plan?

I can pick up now Ellerbe and drop Kuechly, then play him Thursday and drop him Friday morning for Angerer. I can then put the waiver claim in Friday to get DJ Smith for Pollard.

This would result in:

WK4 playing: a DL, Ellerbe, Pollard, and 2 of DQwell, DJ Smith and Chancellor.
Wk5 having available: a DL, DQwell, McCarthy, Angerer, Chancellor and either Pollard or DJ Smith

BTW - Would Riley or W Witherspoon be a better pickup, than DJ Smith?

Also, what are your thoughts on hanging on to Allen? Especially with the likes of M Johnson, C Jones, Dummervill, Cole and Shaughnessy available.

I'd hold Allen and I like D.J. Smith. I like this plan, but I don't like Ellerbe a ton this week against the run-heavy offense of CLE.

Against the run in the Seattle game, AJ Hawk looked quicker to the ball than DJ Smith.  I have Smith but seeing Hawk get better numbers and look better overall was concerning.  Any thoughts on this?

I still like Smith better than Hawk. It was one game. Hawk has his moments but is largely inconsistent.

What do you see happening to Jerrell Freeman's value going forward when Angerer returns. You were very high on Freeman in the Week 4 waiver wire pick ups, but I am reading that Angerer could return as early as week 5. I have Freeman, but Angerer is on myh waiver wire.  With limited bench space, I really cannot have both at the same time, so should I go ahead and drop Freeman and pick up Angerer? Any thoughts?
