Kwon Alexander Tuitt

After keeping an eye on him for 3 weeks, Im sold on Kwon, solid tackles, DFs, hes always around the ball, the only issue is now do I start him over Cushing this week.... Cushing ATL and Kwon gets Carolina.... thinking a yes ? thoughts?

Also I picked up Tuitt in my Dynasty, kid was a beast coming out of ND, looks like hes in shape  this year and ready to produce some DL2 numbers with upside.

Re: Kwon Alexander Tuitt

This may be a stretch, but Kwon Alexander's responsibility in college was playing sideline to sideline and stopping spread quarterbacks from making big plays. This allowed LSU to annihilate Johnny Manziel's Texas A&M team twice on his way to leading the SEC in tackles. HE did the same thing to Auburn at one point. I  picked him up in the last round of my league and with Jamie Collins out with a bye I'm putting him in my flex spot this week

Re: Kwon Alexander Tuitt

That is to say, he may not be a starter every week, but against Cam Newton he's got a high tackle upside. I plan on starting him at least three times this year- twice against Carolina and once against the Eagles

Re: Kwon Alexander Tuitt

Agree, Im starting him over Cushing this week and possibly all year as my LB4 ( 3-4 Defense dynasty league).

My one concern was him playing MLB at 220-225 pounds, so Ive been keeping any eye on him( helps I own David, Smith, McCoy, Evans in my dynasty league lol, his sideline to sideline is there but hes also been able to shed blocks, I generally find the small LBs who get pushed insider don't seem to get off blocks.. after seeing him in action, he looks like hell be fine.

Re: Kwon Alexander Tuitt

I am surprised to see him playing in the middle; he was undersized for that in college let alone the NFL. Their D-line is strong, though, and hopefully that gives him more opportunities to cover more of the field

Re: Kwon Alexander Tuitt

I know! ... when they said he was going to start MLB over Bruce Carter a capable player they just paid, I was curious because of his size not talent, Lovie Smith is a coach I'll trust when it comes to linebackers so I took notice and he's actually held up well for being smaller.
