IDP in Auction Draft

Any advice on spending money on IDP in an Auction draft?  Obviously JJ Watt is far superior to all non-LBer defensive players; but, how much would you spend on him?  I know most IDP will probably go for minimum ($1).  Do you spend <$10 on Watt.   What about the top LBers or other Defensive players.

Any advice is helpful. I've never done an auction with IDP.

It really depends on your total salary, if there are keepers, how many offensive positions, etc. I wouldn't overpay for Watt, I only own him in one league because he typically goes to high or for too much money.
