I'm ready to give up on JPP

I used my first defensive player pick on him, thinking he'd produce consistently.
However, other than week 2 vs TB, he's been horrible.  (I think because he was so dominant last year, offenses are double teaming him every game, so he's valuable, but isnt going to produce other than a few tackles here and there)
Is it time to cut him?  I dont have many options on the WW, so I may be stuck.
Here's what I have on the WW:

Michael Bennett (TB)
Dwan Edwards
Michael Johnson (CIN)
Sam Acho (ARI)
Cameron Jordan (NO)
Robert Quinn (SL)

So three questions:
Stick with JPP?
Bench him and pick up one of the above?
Dump him/trade him this week as he's not worth a roster spot  (can you tell I'm annoyed ?)

Thanks!

Re: I'm ready to give up on JPP

Drop him- NO
Trade him- only if you can get good value in return.
Bench- Yes and I like Michael Johnson from Cincy or Cam Jordan.

Good luck!

Didn't see Quinn there until I hit send.

I like him better than both of the other two.

Re: I'm ready to give up on JPP

The problem with not dropping JPP is wondering whether to play him vs. a certain matchup.
For instance next week vs. SF.
I'll pick up Quinn though and try to ride with him a few weeks.
I hate to use a roster spot for a DE that hasnt produced...tho the browns did do a good job defensively yesterday....maybe JPP gets better at some point?

What do you think Guru?
PIck up Quinn and play him for the next few weeks to see if JPP starts producing?
Or stick with JPP for a few more games?

Re: I'm ready to give up on JPP

Alex Smith was sacked the most in 2011, and while he's only been dropped a respectable 12 times so far this year, the Niners want him to take sacks all day, rather than throw the ball up and risk an interception. I think you should be patient for one more week, because I think JPP, Tuck, and Osi will all have a great chance to 'get theirs' in week 6.

If it makes you feel better, I had JJ Watt and Kamerion Wimbley in my queue for 2nd DL, and I chose Wimbley. It's even worse to not only have (since dropped) a guy not producing, but to have selected him in lieu of the league's most dominant pass rusher through five weeks is a super burn. I don't know what I was thinking.

Re: I'm ready to give up on JPP

thanks KG.
Alright, I'll give him another week.
I'm hurting for bench space anyway.
