Have both McCarthy and Ayers

McCarthy put in a full practice according to Rotoworld. Is it ok to start both of them at the same time? Alternatives on the wire for Ayers would be Riley, Houston (sacks are worth 5), Maualuga, Burfict, Burnett. Thanks.

Re: Have both McCarthy and Ayers

I think Ayers production falls substantially once McCarthy comes back. Riley is probably your best, high floor option this week. Burfict is the biggest high risk/reward option.

Re: Have both McCarthy and Ayers

One additional question regarding the two LBs - do you believe that McCarthy then is the LB to own going forward?  Should I drop Ayers in a tackle heavy league for McCarthy before someone else picks him up?  I don't believe I would be playing either one this week - this is for rest of season...

Thanks again

Re: Have both McCarthy and Ayers

in a tackle heavy league who you you start between dansby, mccarthy and angerer. Im not sure if your rankings are a best case scenario or take into account the idea that mccarthy and angerer might not play full snaps this week coming off of injury.

Re: Have both McCarthy and Ayers

Dansby is safer, but I think McCarthy is in line for a huge week. I don't see him rotating out personally, but I could be wrong.
