Edleman or Thomkins? Also Mathieu question

I'm stuck at the Waiver Wire with a dilema and appreciate your help:
I have Kenbrell Thomkins and Emmanuel Sanders.  Is either worth dumping to get Edelman?  Seems like Thomkins has much higher upside (if he could catch the blasted ball!) than Edelman.
What do you think?

My concern:
The honey badger only played 39 of 67 defensive snaps.
I have him on my ESPN team (listed as a CB instead of a S!).
Do you know why he started, but didnt get full snaps?
Should I be concerned with him going forward?

Thanks!

Re: Edleman or Thomkins? Also Mathieu question

It seems that when Gronk comes back, then Edlemen will likely have far fewer targets, giving Thomkins more upside....right?

Re: Edleman or Thomkins? Also Mathieu question

Gronk comeback could help Edelman as top LBs and CBs will focus on Gronk. As long as Amendola is out, Edelman would be nice play as Brady trust him more than rookie WRs. Both Gronk and Amendola are huge injury risk anyway.  I expect that Edelman could be top WR in NE.
