Can Hawthorne now be trusted?

More than 10 tackles in his 3 of last 4 games, can he deserve the roster spot from the wire? May I drop Mays for him?

As long as he continues to miss nickel snaps, he will continue to be a risk. However, with Lofa Tatupu underperforming and Seattle getting plenty of tackle opportunities, Hawthorne can be a LB3 and even a LB2 in the right matchups (i.e. teams that don't use many spread offenses).
