A restless owner dropped Jason Babin today. I currently have #3 waiver priority in my league, and Jared Allen as one of my two DL. I chose Kamerion Wimbley over JJ Watt and Jabaal Sheard as my second DL (silly, dumb, and particularly painful considering the monster Watt has been to date) and Babin represents an obvious upgrade at second DL. My question is, should I cash in my waiver chips for him? I am fairly deep at RB (Ray Rice, Fred Jackson, Mikel LeShoure, and Donald Brown) which is the spot I typically wait for a difference maker to appear and cash in on.
My gut says yes, get Babin and never worry about DL again (barring injury) as Allen and Babin will kick it into high gear before long. But what say you, Guru and flock?
