Aldon Smith and other opinions sought - ROS/Playoff run

I picked-up Aldon off the wire this week, and am trying to decide if I should keep him or not for my playoff run.  I'm 9-1 to date, and want to get the #1 seed if at all possible.  The up-and-comers in my league have some strong teams...I'll need a high seed.

This is a very deep league...12 teams, PPR, and IDP scoring
1.5 solo
1.0 asst
3.0 sack
3.0 int
2.0 ff/fr
1.0 pass def
plus bonuses for sack yardage, TFL, and returns from int's and fumbles

My current LB core (3 starters) is:
Chad Greenway
Lawrence Timmons
James Laurinaitis
Plus:
Thomas Davis (flex IDP)

Rest of team (2 DL, 3 DB) starters:
DL - Calais Campbell
DL - Everson Griffin
DB - Reshad Jones
DB - Morgan Burnett
DB - Kam Chancellor
Bench - Aldon Smith, Eric Berry

Timmons and Davis have their byes next week, so I'll need to start Aldon next week regardless.  Out on my wire are Bobby Wagner, and Vontaze (I dropped him after the knee scope).  I've already had one trade offer for Aldon, but it was for Eddie Royal, so I rejected.

Guru/forum: I know you have Aldon a ways down your ROS rankings, but given his sack potential, maybe he's worth keeping ROS?   Bench space is valuable.  Here are the LBs of note that are on my wire:
Lamur
Woodyard
Peppers
Hightower
Wagner (injured)
Burfict (injured)

Thoughts/opinions are appreciated.  I'd also appreciate input on my DB lineup for this week.  I'm waffling on whether to start Kam (coming off groin injury) or Berry.  Thank you in advance!

Re: Aldon Smith and other opinions sought - ROS/Playoff run

Well, I picked-up Wagner off the wire.  I read that he resumed practicing today, so fingers crossed for Sunday.  Aldon looked really rusty, so I'm still debating whether to keep him or not.  I plugged Berry in for now as my flex, but would rather have a LB there.

Lamur is gone off the wire.  Woodyard is being outplayed by Avery Williamson, and Avery is available.  Rey is also out there, and you know Houston is going to run the ball...

Aldon would really be the only guy I'd want to drop at this point.  Maybe Avery Williamson is the best play for the next week or 2 (Eagles and Texans)?

Do you get to start Aldon Smith @ DE?  If LB, you're likely not going to get the tackle production you need.  He wasn't rusty Sunday, just on a snap count (didn't play much until the 2nd half).  In the 2nd half he got consistent pressure, and I'd expect some big games are coming.
