This league currently has 6 open teams available. Some of the unique features of this league include:
~Different offensive and defensive formations to use when submitting your game day lineups.
~The use of a head coach, as well as Punter and kicker and for Defense, LB’s , DT, DE, CB, and S.
~Double header weeks and a triple header so that the league can have a full 16 game season.
~Free agency periods.
~ (Re) signing players whose contracts have expired or are about to expire.
~ Unrestricted and restricted Free agency
~ 45 minimum plus coach and 53 player Plus Coach Maximum roster with a $675 salary cap.
~ Holdout players
~a 7 round rookie draft with a taxi squad for drafted players to develop
~ a detailed rulebook.
We have tried to get this league as close to the NFL and owning a team as you can get. The winner of the league receives a mini Lombardi Trophy, a Ring, and over $500 in league winnings.. .The league uses leaguesafe to keep all league dues and are paid out at the end of the season and MFFL as our league site.
I currently have 6 teams available. The teams available have win loss records of 2-14, 6-10, 2-13-1,5-11, 6-10, and 11-5 and was a playoff team. If an owner were to take on the 2-14 team or the 2-13-1 team, I would be willing to cut their membership in half for the first year.
The reason these teams are available is because the owners failed to realize what a IDP dynasty league is about.. This league not only gives solid points for offense, it also gives solid points for defensive players as well. Once you understand the basics and how this league runs, a maximum of 20 minutes a week is really all you will need to keep your team a contender. Unfortunately the prior owners did not want to keep up and put in very little time it takes to research players and to run a Dynasty team.
